Your privacy
LEASH is designed with privacy at its core. We understand that discretion matters.
- Anonymous profiles — you choose your display name. No real names are required or shown to other users.
- No public indexing — profiles are not indexed by search engines. Your presence on LEASH stays on LEASH.
- Minimal data collection — we only collect what's necessary to run the service. We don't sell your data to third parties.
Blocking users
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them instantly.
- Go to the user's profile
- Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner
- Select "Block"
- Confirm your choice
What happens when you block someone:
- They can no longer see your profile
- They cannot send you messages or Roses
- Any existing conversations are hidden
- They are not notified that you blocked them
Reporting users
If you encounter behavior that violates our guidelines, please report it.
- Go to the user's profile or the specific content
- Tap the menu icon (three dots)
- Select "Report"
- Choose a reason and add optional details
- Submit your report
What happens after you report:
- Our team reviews every report within 24 hours
- The reported user is not told who reported them
- If the report is confirmed, action is taken (warning, suspension, or permanent ban)
- You'll receive a notification when your report has been reviewed
Content guidelines
LEASH has a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Harassment or threats — aggressive, intimidating, or threatening behavior
- Minors — all users must be 18+. Any content involving minors results in an immediate permanent ban and law enforcement referral
- Non-consensual content — all interactions on LEASH must be consensual
- Illegal activity — anything that violates applicable law
- Spam or fraud — fake profiles, scams, or deceptive behavior
Violations are handled seriously. Depending on severity, consequences range from a warning to permanent account removal.
Data protection
LEASH is operated from the European Union and complies with GDPR:
- EU servers — your data is stored on servers in the European Union
- Right to access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Right to deletion — you can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
- Data portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format
- Encryption — all data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
